Les femmes étaient particulièrement valorisées pour leur chasteté durant le Moyen Âge. Avant le mariage, la virginité et la fidélité après étaient des principes clés, fortement encouragés par l’Église. Les femmes étaient vues comme les protectrices de la pureté morale et familiale, et la chasteté assurait la légitimité des héritiers.
L’influence des croisades a été marquante sur les pratiques de chasteté des chevaliers.
Les chevaliers européens, en partance pour les croisades, s’engageaient souvent à pratiquer la chasteté, considérant que l’abstinence rehaussait leur pureté spirituelle et morale et les rendait plus dignes pour la lutte religieuse.
Les membres des ordres monastiques devaient suivre des préceptes stricts en matière de chasteté pour honorer leur vocation.
Les ordres religieux médiévaux, tels que les bénédictins et les cisterciens, observaient des vœux de chasteté sévères. Pour les bénédictins, les cisterciens et les chevaliers teutoniques, la chasteté était synonyme d’un renoncement aux plaisirs terrestres et d’une élévation spirituelle. La chasteté est un thème central dans les histoires et légendes médiévales, reflétant son importance dans les sphères religieuses, morales, et sociales. to the ultimate Authority above your big sister take it to the father to Our Father in heaven and test it against the word of God but even though this message may not be pleasing to a lot of your ears I did not come here onto this channel to please anyone my assignment as part of the body of Christ is to speak and preach Jesus so we are going to talk about a woman’s sexual past because I know that for a lot of you um there is a lot of emphasis on you know how a woman’s past what what it says about her and it’s not just rhetoric in the church it’s rhetoric in the world I don’t have to say any names on the types of the type of leadership in social media that speaks a lot on this but um a lot of the time when a woman speaks against this the automatic assumption is it is because it is because she was promiscuous in her past and is trying to cover it up but the lord gave me this assignment because I am a person that as I shared in the video the Irreplaceable Covenant relationship God has with his men I am a person that has been chased until marriage my whole life there were no slip UPS for me God was my very good and disciplinary father who refused to let me compromise so he has put me in a position where I have done the hard work as a good soldier of Jesus Christ to keep my body consecrated to him until marriage and for that reason he also disciplined me because this idea that a woman’s virginity is where her value comes from is not biblical even though you know virginity was highly valued in Israelite times the reason for its value is not what the world has taught men that its value is for or where it comes from because I got to a point in my walk with God where I became very prideful that I was a virgin I became very prideful that I had remained chased up to this point and the Lord sent fire to destroy my pride because that is not how he sees his daughters my virginity my Purity my sexual Purity did not make me better than any other woman not even the woman in his sight who had 500 bodies in the past and he made sure that I understood that my virginity was not what gave me worth okay so we’re going to go into chapter 8 of The Book of John where Jesus encountered the woman who was caught in adultery starting in verse three the teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery they made her stand before the group and said to Jesus teacher this woman was caught in the act of adultery in the law Moses commanded us to Stone such women now what do you say they were using this question as a trap in order to have a basis for accusing him but Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger when they kept on questioning him he straightened up and said to them let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her again he stooped down and wrote on the ground at this those who heard began to go away one at a time the older ones first until only Jesus was left with the woman still standing there Jesus straightened up and asked Heroman where are they has no one condemned you no one sir she said then neither do I condemn you Jesus declared go now and leave your life of sin when it comes to what’s the word analyzing women and forming an opinion and perspective on a woman regarding her sexual past and sexual history whether she has none or she has a lot you must remember that you will never be better than Jesus Jesus is the ultimate authority Jesus is the ultimate judge and that he wasn’t dealing with a woman who just had a past okay he was dealing with a woman who was in sin okay and he still said neither do I condemn you so when you as a man of God go and judge and condemn women because of their sexual behavior because of their sexual past you are sinning against God that is the bottom line now if you have been watching my channel for a while you understand that I do not condone promiscuity for women or for men okay SE ual sin is diabolical lust Is On Assignment to destroy the kingdom of God it’s reprehensible okay so we’re not condoning any type of behavior and when God gives you a wife you have a right as a man to expect sexual Purity because that is a covenant relationship okay so we’re not talking about just accept the woman who is actively living in a life of sexual sin and has demonstrated to you by the fruit that she produces in her life you know don’t just accept that you know and you know choose that woman as a wife but if you are judging a woman in the present based on the fruit that she produced in the past and not the fruit of the spirits that she is producing now in this season in this point in her walk with God and you aren’t taking that woman back to God in prayer and asking him what he thinks of her first before forming an opinion about her you are out of God’s order because Jesus is not seeing that woman based on her past Jesus Jesus’s only definition of Purity is the holy spirit in us okay and our communion with him I having been a virgin my whole life there were times in my life where I had no Purity because I was prideful I was idolatrous I was jealous and envious I had a Jezebel spirit it didn’t matter that I was a virgin if the inside of me was rotten which it was my soul was rotting because of the sins that were in my heart the only reason that I Proclaim that I am a woman who lives a life of Purity now is not because of my virginity it is because of the things that are in my heart that caused me to understand the value of sexual Purity and sexual abstinence which are honoring my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who laid his life down for me and understanding that my sexual Purity and abstinence is part of my obedience to him and how I glorify him but when that wasn’t in my heart when I was looking at my virginity as a ticket as a right to a certain level of treatment I was in sin and the Lord disciplined me you know and had to deal with me until I repented of believing those things and in the same way if the Lord disciplined me as a virgin you know as somebody who did walk that walk okay if you as a man are looking at a woman and thinking some women are just better than others because of their sex ual history or lack thereof you are not seeing them from the lens of Jesus Christ you aren’t seeing them from the lens of the Holy Spirit you are seeing them from the lens of lust because pornography causes men to view women as um disposable and Expendable and something that you use up and throw away once the um once you have used them for a certain purpose then they’ve lost their value and you throw them away but those are lies of the devil that is not how Jesus sees women at all that thinking that lust was why amnon in the Bible you know David Son amnon raped his sister Tamar because oh he was so in love with her so in love with her she was a virgin you know she was separate she was so beautiful and attractive but once he got what he wanted she in his eyes she served no further purpose that is lust that’s not love that is a sin that is a sinful heart posture to have so as a man of God you need to understand that your position before for God is to see his women the way that he sees them you need to understand that Jesus God is Sovereign okay and if he treated us if he saw us in that light that so many men in the world see women we would all be dead and destroyed and in hell if he were condemning us the way that I see so many men condemning women we would all be in hell do you understand me there would be no Grace for us there would be no patience or Mercy for us there would be no forgiveness so as your big sister in Christ I just want to encourage you that again there is nothing wrong with valuing and Desiring Purity in your wife okay but check your heart posture on that check where it’s coming from check what beliefs you have about women as a whole and about sex as a whole that are leading you to desire Purity in a wife do they align with the word of God do they align with how Jesus loves and treated women do they align with Christ laying his life down for the bride of Christ which women represent like the church women represent the church do they align with that that’s all men of God God bless youall .
